The blue color was chosen for the national team (not only of soccer) as heraldic color of Savoia House when there was still the monarchy. All' beginning was a celestial pale, while in the post-war period, the Italian Republic maintained the color blue, but with a usually more intense tonality, even if the color point always is changed of much with l' to alternate itself of the several suppliers of the estates sport of our national teams.
