I hate when I buy new clips & they take forever to download so basically what I'm asking is is there any way I could speed up my downloads almost any kind of advice would help besides telling me change my internet service. I remember somebody saying something about J Downloader. I haven't looked into it yet because I'm not interested unless it will help me speed up my downloads. So what do y'all think I should do here? Oh & don't tell me Support & Cafe. If you want to move this thread you do it (admins) it takes too fucking long to even get views in Support & Cafe.

Fair warning, I'm about to break your first rule.

Download speed depends on the speed of the host and the speed of your internet.
If you're actually buying clips (like from C4S) then the speed of the host should be fine.
If you're downloading clips from some another host like uploaded.net or similar,
the speed is capped at a horrendously slow rate unless you get premium,
so nothing to be done there either.

That only leaves upgrading the speed of your internet (changing plans or changing ISP).
I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's the truth.

Jdownloader makes downloading lots of things more convenient and efficient, but (correct me if I'm wrong), won't help your download speed.

Sorry.

What humanCouch said is entirely correct.

Although one tip. If you get Jdownloader make sure to get Jdownloader 2. Highly improved version and UI.

Jdownloader will increase your download speed overall, by decreasing your overall wait time and time fiddling around on sites. It's a download manager and will find links for you on pages or quickly begun to download ones you find and keeps them all neat and tidy for you. But speed is based on your internet speed and the host again. You won't get good speeds on shitty sites like uploaded. Won't happen. Unless you shell out for premium.

Thanks for recommending the new version, it is way better. For one thing, it doesn't say I have outdated Java right after uppdating it! I didn't trust version 2 because it says it's beta only.

Anytime mate! Yeah it's in beta but man the improvement from the first one just make it so much better, honestly.
