Good DVD ripping software?

I have more clips I want to upload, but the problem is they're on DVD, and were lost from my HD. I'm mostly computer whizzy, but in this area I need some learnin'! : ) What's the best, easiest to use, and free DVD ripping software I can grab? Thanks gang! Point me in the right direction, and the reward will be more clips!
