I had a whole bunch of fart videos saved on my old laptop which just recently fried up.. How it died though was from the screen coming detached from the keyboard, or the bottom half of the computer, which then pulled some wires apart. I think the information saved should all be still intact but I dont know how i could go about putting the saved memory from the laptop onto the one im using now. I figured googling my problem would take a whole bunch of research so i went this route first. Can anyone help? thanks

Have you tried connecting a monitor to your old laptop?

Or is it really dead?

Dont know what else you could do, but call a repair guy.

He might be able to save your harddrive(s) and its contents.

Just flip your laptop over, unscrew the plate, take out the hard drive and put it into a 2.5" hard drive USB enclosure. Then connect it to your laptop via USB.

depending on type of notebook Hard drive, if it's SATA 2,5" disk, you need to just plug it in your desktop pc , easieast way would be to buy HDD docking station that works over USB port , over ebay
